Joe Sandy, Vice President, Technology, Halliburton Click here for abstract Joe Sandy is Vice President, Technology for Halliburton. In this role, he is responsible for research and development efforts for the two largest product service lines supported by the Duncan Technology Center. In addition, he is active in the development of the long-term strategic direction with regard to Halliburton's technology assets, with particular accountability for the effective globalization of technology footprint. Joe has more than 27 years of service with Halliburton. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. He also earned a Master of Science in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. Joe began his career with Halliburton at Duncan's Technology Center in August 1981 as a Chemist for Field Service Support. He advanced to a Group Supervisor by Feb. 1987 and to a Section Supervisor by Jan. 1992. In Sept. 1992, Joe took an international assignment in Leiderdrop, The Netherlands where Joe served as Section Supervisor until July 1993 when he became the Director of Halliburton's European Research Center. Joe held various international management positions from Jan. 1997 to Oct. 1999 before returning to Duncan as the Duncan Technology Chemical Compliance Manager. In Oct. 1999, Joe was promoted to Director of Duncan Technology. For approximately 18 months, Joe served as Director of both Duncan and Carrollton Technology Centers. In Aug. 2006, he was promoted to Vice President Technology. |
